In January 2016, the Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) expanded to the Atlanta metro area. This effort is the result of several years of working closely with leaders in Atlanta and successfully training local community organizers. IMAN Atlanta is led by Regional Director Mansoor Sabree.

IMAN Atlanta’s debut was centered around a special CommUNITY Café, where several nationally renowned artists from across the country shared the stage for a galvanizing night of artistic expression. Sabree and a host of leaders and volunteers have built upon that powerful foundation, engaging community members with quarterly “IMAN Sessions” and asserting themselves in local politics. IMAN Atlanta recently purchased its first property, and is primed to begin offering direct services in 2017 through its Green ReEntry program.
