As one of a few grocery options in the community, the Fresh Market provides over 6,000 residents with access to fresh produce.

The Go Green Community Fresh Market is an alternative to the traditional neighborhood corner store, featuring an inventory of fresh produce and halal, vegan, and gluten-free foods reflecting its commitment to health, wellness, healing, and increased healthy food access.

Built on the foundations of 14 years of IMAN’s flagship Corner Store Campaign, the Fresh Market serves as a catalytic force to diversify the food ecosystem on Chicago’s South Side.

The Fresh Market is a project of Go Green on Racine, a partnership between IMAN, Teamwork Englewood, the Resident Association of Greater Englewood, and E.G. Woode.
