About the Exhibit
Envisioning Liberation is an exhibit featuring art by artist Shirien Damra. In this collection, we move through themes of self care and community care, spirituality, intersectional solidarity, remembrance and reflection. The art showcased in this exhibit challenges us to take care of ourselves and one another. It calls on us to take action against injustice, wherever it exists, and imagine something better for ourselves and for each other.

About the Artist
Shirien Damra is a Chicago-born artist and designer with Palestinian roots. Shirien uses art and creativity as a tool to uplift movements and to amplify marginalized groups, to promote community healing, and to envision a better world.
